I got a phone call from my parents as they drove through Happy Valley the other day. Modified transcript:
Mom: Hi hunny, we're driving through Happy Valley. It's a beautiful campus!
Me: Great. I'm in a recliner studying for the bar. I win.
Mom: Now your father is having a tough time concentrating on driving the car because the beauutiful Penn State co-eds are out in full force tonight, wearing absolutely nothing.
Dad (in the background): There were 30 of them in a group! What am I gonna do?
Mom: Woooooo oooooo.
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I wasn't aware that PSU was a bastion for hotties. Obviously the Midwest schools most famous for its scorchingly hot co-eds are Miami (OH), Wisconsin, Ohio State, and probably Michigan State. But maybe this list should include Penn State?
My dad lived in a fraternity house when he went to Eastern Michigan back in the day. Because that was the 1960's, the frat house had only one payphone, and so there was much jockeying to use the phone. Anyways, one of the senior frat members was dating a girl named Maria and had a penchant for monopolizing the phone time to hear her apparently lilting voice.
Somehow, a couple of frat brothers found out that Maria was dating a Wisconsin guy on the side. The next time the senior member called his lady, the brothers led the entire fraternity in a rousing rendition of "On Wisconsin." The senior member, thoroughly confused, ignored it until the next night, when his call to Maria was again interrupted by the choir of frat boys serenading him with the Badgers famous fight song. A fight broke out, explanations were given, and Maria was history.
