Rumors are flying around Iowa City that Bryan Bulaga will be out for the Iowa State game this week, and possibly longer. A lot longer. Details are scarce, and rumors are high, but as FightforIowa states:

"The rumors I've seen range anywhere from a mild knee injury that would just require him to miss one game, to a thyroid problem which would be more like a couple of weeks, all the way up to a career ending heart condition. "

As with all injuries, first we hope that the player recovers quickly and the worst case scenarios tossed about are only rumors.

But if Iowa has lost it's starting Left Tackle, starting Running Back, and starting Corner for the season before Week 2, those 10-2 and 11-1 projections are looking a tad bit optimistic.
