As we look out across our Empire today, a couple things stand out.  First, there's no real big showdown game, nor is there a big rivalry game.  Those come in the next few weeks after several weeks of outstanding football.  

There are, however, a couple games where statements can be made.  Let me rephrase that.  There are two games where statements WILL be made, either good or bad, by four teams (Michigan, Illinois, Northwestern, and Penn State).
