goes to Gene Collier of the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette, for this idiotic article regarding Big Ten expansion.
He starts off with some odd reference to a game show, only to lead into a pseudo-emotional appeal about Wall Street and putting people out of work. Mr. Collier does not seem to recognize college athletics for what it is- a business.

If Mr. Collier looked out his window, how many shells of former Pittsburgh businesses could he see because they rested upon the laurels of “we were/are great.” It’s not business thinking, it’s progressive thinking, and it applies to companies, schools, non-profit organizations, political parties, and every type of entity.
