The Obligatory Predictions Competition - Week 12: Can Michigan Slow Nebraska's Run Game?
I am thrilled out of my damn socks for three specific games this week, because as far as predictions go, I don't what the hell is going to happen. You think I know which Ohio State offensive line will show up, the one that knocked Wisconsin all around or the one that got manhandled by Purdue? You think I have any idea if Michigan can slow a power running attack like Nebraska? And even though your mind gives some cognitive dissonance about picking Purdue over Iowa, that game is inching closer to a tossup in my mind.

Enjoy some prognosticating and then log onto Yahoo! to weigh in. OH AND HOW IN GODS NAME CAN I WATCH FIVE B1G GAMES AT ONE TIME? Even my DVR can't do that.
NOON GAMES
Iowa @ Purdue
All signs point to Iowa losing this game...And I follow signs. Underwhelming Iowa versus overachieving Purdue. Why not follow the Boiler momo? Purdue wins at home.
Wisconsin @ Illinois
The Badgers...aren't a good road team. The running game just doesn't go downhill on the road like it does in Madison. But they're still odds on favorites to win the B1G. Wisky on the road.
Nebraska @ Michigan
The brand names, the jerseys, the 1997 controversy, the mutual respect, the ability to talk about glory years...Such a great matchup. The Wolverines still haven't beat a big time B1G team though and until they do...Nebraska on the road.

3:30 GAME
Penn State @ Ohio State
Went back and forth with this one. Look what PSU's defense has done this year, no way Braxton Miller can do anything against them, PSU wins. WAIT. OSU's defense is no slouch, combine that with the dysfunctional Nittany Lion defense and homefield advantage...OSU wins. Now I'm just kind of confused. I'll take homefield, Bucks win.
8:00 GAME
USC @ Oregon
Oregon, much like Hansel, is so hot right now. USC is essentially Stanford, with higher level recruits. Look what happened to Stanford. Ducks win.

I agree
Northwestern probably beats Minnesota. It’ll take an inspired effort by MarQueis Gray and the offense to keep up with the Persa juggernaut.
Oh, what’s that you say? Still talking about Nebraska? (sighs)
"All signs point to Iowa losing this game..."
Agreed.
Which is precisely why I would bet on Iowa to win. It has been that kind of year for Iowa in particular—beating Michigan, losing to Minnesota—and the B1G—tOSU beating Wisconsin and losing to Purdue, Nebraska beating tOSU and losing to Northwestern—in general.

Windows Media Center plus a CableCard tuner can get you to four...
HOW IN GODS NAME CAN I WATCH FIVE B1G GAMES AT ONE TIME?
Putting on my geek cape for a minute…I built an HTPC earlier this year and absolutely love it. Using the Ceton InfiniTV 4 tuner, and a CableCard from your local cable company, you will be able to tune and record four digital cable feeds at a time – in HD. Comes in really handy around our house on Wednesday nights and Sunday nights! Plus with an HTPC, the only limit to your DVR capacity is the number of hard drives you’re willing to buy. I currently have enough room for about 250 hours of HD recordings, compared to the cable company DVR’s 12-15 hours of storage…

I assume that is for HD only?
I have one DVR that has at least 150 hours worth of crap on it, and it was supplied by Dish. But not everything is recorded in HD, of course.
Glory days
They’ll pass you by in the wink of a young girl’s eye.
I feel like Iowa must be reeling right now. Purdue will protect this house.
The Badgers destroy another scoreboard.
Michigan perplexes the Blackshirts for a home win.
State university of Ohio keeps it simple, stupid, which is enough over PSU
USC hangs in the first half, but can’t keep scoring in the second half to keep up with the Jones’ of Oregon.
