Big Ten Coach of the Year
Ann Arbor -- University of Michigan coach Brady Hoke was awarded the first Hayes-Schembechler Trophy, given to the Big Ten Coach of the Year.
"Any type of awards that are given, Heisman Trophy or best taper if you're taping ankles, the thing is we have a great staff, and we've had a great group of kids when you look at the seniors and what they've done," Hoke said. "My point is that it's never one person, one guy. It's everybody involved in the program. Jon Falk and how he gets the guys ready from the equipment standpoint, Paul Schmidt in the training room and how the people take so much pride feeding those kids and all that stuff."
Love him or hate him, you gotta respect what he's done in one year. I'm looking forward to next year's installment of The Game. Its gonna be epic!

Congrats to Hoke
It’ll be his last one, so this is nice. :)

Yeah
even IF it is his last, there’s certainly representatives from 10 other schools who are equally as deserving.
Good for Brady
How fitting that the first “Hayes-Schembechler” award goes to Brady Hoke, a man who idolizes both of them. Now let’s gear up for a Scarlett and Blue BCG II next year, only it should be held in the stadium of the team with the best conference record, not some lame non-conference facility in Indy.
Eh, I think it's a good decision to host the game on a neutral site.
But make it Soldier Field or something. MAYBE THE METRODOME?!?
Soldier Field sucks
The grass is terrible and causes injuries. Indy seats more people. It’s supposed to be rainy and around 40 degrees with wind to make it feel more like 34 degrees in Chicago Saturday night. Why subject fans to that crap?

Why have in person seating at all?
Haven’t we had TVs for years now? That way every fan controls his own microclimate!
What are these "TVs" you speak of?
The most addicting drug is winning(not Charlie Sheen's "winning").
This is why I love being a Buckeye fan

"Go hard. I mean, like relentless. I want a bunch of coaches that coach like their hair’s on fire, and I want a football team that goes for four to six seconds (per play) with relentless effort." OSU Coach Urban Meyer.
