Big Ten Alumni In the 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 1 and 2

In 2010, the Big Ten had some of the best defensive line talent in the nation. Cameron Heyward, Adrian Clayborn, J.J. Watt, Defensive Player of the Year Ryan Kerrigan, Corey Liuget...well, that translated to the draft.

Thus far, the Big Ten has had the following players drafted:

11th pick, Houston Texans: J.J. Watt, DE, Wisconsin
16th pick,  Washington Potomac Basin Indigenous Persons: Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue
18th pick, San Diego Chargers: Corey Liuget, DT, Illinois
20th pick, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa
29th pick, Chicago Bears: Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
31st pick, Pittsburgh Steelers: Cameron Heyward, DE/DT, Ohio State

Round 2:

15th pick, St. Louis Rams: Lance Kendricks, TE, Wisconsin
16th pick, Oakland Raiders: Stefen Wisniewski, OG/C, Penn State
25th pick: Detroit Lions: Mikel Leshoure, RB, Illinois
29th pick, San Diego Chargers: Jonas Mouton, LB, Michigan
