When outsiders think about the Big Ten, this is what they think of. Michigan versus Ohio State for a trip to Pasadena. Michigan would go to Columbus and win. Michigan would go to Pasadena and lose. It was a classic Big Ten season. Oh, and they weren't a league member yet...
...but Penn State played a pretty good game in the desert, too.
