B1G Sets Tiebreaker Rules

The Big Ten has set its tiebreaker rules to reach the B1G Championship Game. If two teams are tied, the head-to-head winner will go. If three teams are tied, with each having a 1-1 record in head to head play, the next steps will be division record, record versus the 4th place team in the division, record against all common opponents, BCS standings, non-conference record, random draw. And, the Big Ten has ruled that any team that is ineligible for a bowl game (whistles, looks toward Columbus, whistles...), will be ineligible for the Big Ten Championship Game.
