Bowl Television Ratings
Predictably, the rematch no one outside of Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge and Bristol wanted saw a significant drop-off in viewership.
And the ratings pose an interesting Zen koan: if the Big East and ACC play in a bowl game and no one watches, did it happen?

Actually
The BCS Title Game held up better (smaller percentage of loss) than the Rose Bowl. Should be ban repeat trips from B1G teams, or just ban Wisconsin?

...or separate the bowls from the title game...

ESPN wants...
…2 teams from the same conference in ALL of the bowls!

That explains why there were
Three SEC/B1G match ups at noon on Jan. 2, and a 4th B1G team kicking off at 11 that day.
Absolutely... make the audience choose...
…none of this foolish preoccupation with trying to max the audience.

Epic failure by the Cap 1 selection committee
Could have had Sparty – UGa and possibly Sugar bowlish ratings.
…and can someone verify PSU played Houston?
I don’t know anyone who gets ESPN9…
