I came up with an idea, "why can't we have a fundraiser that raises what would be enough money to buy out Ferentz's contract, but to the disillusionment of Iowa fan, we donate it to a good cause like Cystic Fibrosis research?"

And so here we are, in the spirit of hating Iowa fan and actually helping a very good cause, I've set up the following fundraiser project at CrowdRise.com:

HELP DEFEAT CYSTIC FIBROSIS WITH KIRK FERENTZ'S BUYOUT MONEY!

The minimum donation is $10 (I didn't set the minimum limit, they did,) so if you find it in your hearts to help a good cause while more or less making light fun of Iowa fan's situation then please donate and help spread the word to anybody you know is willing to pitch in.

Edit: all proceeds go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org) immediately after the donation has been made (minus approximately 5% that CrowdRise.com takes for operating costs.)
