It seems that in the 2012 football season, rather than saying that a player has been in "beast mode" during an epic play, we are now to say they "were a grown man." At least that's what the talking heads on ESPN are doing. Such as, "well he's no Marshawn Lynch, but he's been a grown man tonight." Can we just stop this now? I have a feeling this is going to be one of the most annoying phrases over the next few months.
