It's been a decidedly mixed bag for the Empire so far today. But there was this:

To recap this weekend, Northwestern, Minnesota, MSU, Wisconsin and Iowa barely escaped...but won. And that's all that matters.

Nebraska, OSU and Purdue kicked the hell out of their opponents, and so far have the most impressive victories of the weekend, with Purdue, yeas Purdue, leading the way. Well done, Robert Marve.

Illinois wasn't too far behind, sporting cool uniforms and a slick win in Tim Beckman's debut.

Penn State...lolwut.

Indiana and Michigan have yet to play. I'm hoping for 1-1.
