Not sure if there is going to be an official thread for the bowl game tonight, so feel free to use this. As of now, it is scoreless, with both teams getting a turnover off of a fumble.
Also of note is that Syracuse was stopped on a fake field goal attempt. It was an interesting decision considering the high value of points tonight: both defenses have looked strong.
The B1G likely needs a Gopher win tonight, as this game is the only one on paper where a Big Ten team was probably a clear favorite. However, after one quarter of play, both teams seem fairly even. Feels like Minnesota has moved the ball more easily on the ground, but the Gopher secondary has shown some vulnerability so far. Whichever team gets their issue taken care of first will likely have the advantage later on in the game.
Enjoy the game, everyone!
