Who Is Your Daddy (You) And What Does He Do?

So I've gathered from the last few articles and associated threads that the WWL embarked on some kind of commentariat cleansing program which resulted in the displacement of anywhere from a dozen to several million (figures are approximate) sports blog patrons, and that many of you have settled here in search of opportunity and a new life. A wise choice, first of all, as here, under General Sherman's watchful gaze, you are truly amongst friends as we contemplate how best to continue Northern Aggression.

I won't rehash the pissing matches that marked the first few threads, as they were kind of to be expected with two unfamiliar groups thrown into a message board together and it looks like anything constructive has already been said. There are now, in multiple places, explanations on how to operate the site (it took me some getting used to, but I find it much preferable to new-comments-first formats), the mores and standards of the site, and some of our delightful memes as well as a rich tradition and history befitting our 10 11 12 13 proud institutions plus Michigan.

The last piece, it seems to me, is for our new commentariat-candidates to show your papers, so to speak. The salty OTE veterans among us know each other about as well as you can know other members of a sports blogmmunity, and it seems like you guys mostly know each other somewhat as well, so dish: what are your loyalties and why, maybe a bit about yourself, a story about that time Urban Meyer was in the restaurant where you worked and you spat in his food, that kind of thing. Of course, a lot of this stuff will come out more organically, but there's still 2 full months until football season and I don't want to do any more work before the holiday weekend, so there you have it.

As suggested and merely 5 days after the original post, a poll is now available so that we might get a thumbnail of who walks among us.
