For too long I have stood by and blindly cheered for the B1G because what's better for everyone is what's better for me. I have been a silver lining, glass half full dreamer. I have cheered on your successes (of which there have been few) and shared disappointment in your failures (of which there have been many). I won't do this any longer though as all of you and your teams are way more trouble than you're worth. You might not like it or think it's a valid point, but our teams are getting more money than anyone and most of you can't even keep up with Rutgers in recruiting, your facilities were built as part of the New Deal, and your assistant coaches are mediocre. So from now on, I'm cheering against all of you and not necessarily every time, but I'm cheering for chaos. I'm cheering for things to get so bad that things have to change. Apparently Iowa and Illinois going from where they were to where they are isn't enough, apparently losing in general at isn't enough. Get it together! Write your school president, donate to the University, or get your butt in a seat just DO SOMETHING because what's going on currently in the Midwest isn't acceptable. I want to be a B1G fan, I want to be able to say that our conference won x nattys in a row but who is in position to do that? Who is in position to push for a title this year? Or the next one? Or the one after that? One team and that's my school and they'll be able to do that whether they beat you when you have 4 wins or 7 or 9. So until everyone proves that they care about this embarrassment we call B1G football, I don't care. Keep losing because it will now be funny to me. It's not me, it's you.TraschMan upon coming to the realization that the B1G may never be what it was.
