This is mainly for Michigan and Ohio State fans from a Nebraska fan.
Now that another college football season is upon us, I want to share a thought that I've been contemplating since Nebraska joined the B1G and I would like some input from both Wolverine and Buckeye fans.
Compare two of the greatest rivalries in the history of college football: Ohio State v. Michigan and Nebraska v. Oklahoma.
Consider:
All four schools are college football royalty.
Many of these two games had conference and/or national championship implications.
These two games were MUST-SEE TV on Thanksgiving weekend.
Unfortunately, I have to frame this somewhat in the past tense. While Michigan v. Ohio St. is still in full rage, Nebraska v. Oklahoma has gone the way of VHS tape....literally (thanks a lot, Texa$$).
Buckeyes and Wolverines, I'd appreciate your mutual input on this bit of college football nostalgia. I'll leave you with a couple of YouTube clips to get the conversation going.
