Fairly predictable results minus the fact that Michigan got 1 first place vote... Wait, think about that for a moment. Michigan had someone actually vote them as the best team in America. I mean, good for them and all, but is Hoke's mom voting? Michigan ends up 8th even with the vote of confidence. The B1G has the usual results after that. Wisconsin and Michigan State are 12 and 13 respectively and Nebraska and Ohio State are 17 and 18 respectively. Football is almost here!!! Discuss amongst yourselves.

Per twitter, Bielema says Montee has been released from the hospital. Hopefully he's fine physically and mentally. Class act guy. Perhaps wrong place and wrong time? What's with the world nowadays...

WR Kyle Prater, who transferred from USC to a B1G school--Northwestern, is eligible to play in 2012, the NCAA has determined. And by 'determine', I mean roll some chicken bones, then some dice, then spin a wheel, then flip a coin, then play Rock, Paper, Scissors. Because seriously, I have no idea why some guys get waivers granted and other guys have to sit out a year. Either way, this is a big deal for the Wildcats, and Prater should be a primary target for Kain Colter.

Sometime after midnight CST tonight (not sure exactly what segment), I'll be on the V Show on ESPN National Radio. I've been asked on to talk about other schools recruiting Penn State players, and the future of the program. Hope you get a chance to tune in. Just for clarification, I'll be the guy going 'uhhhhhhhhhhh' and then drooling (which you can hear over the radio) after the host asks the question. Seriously, what else do you have to do tonight?
