QB Steven Bench is leaving PSU. He was competing in spring for the QB job, but now that job will be between the JUCO guy they brought in and the super-recruit coming in fall.
I don't see his loss as a big deal overall, but losing another scholarship player you can't replace is never good.
Dantonio is shuffling the coaching assignments on offense. The old QBs coach will call the plays, but he is now the RBs coach. Meanwhile, the RBs coach is the new QBs coach and charged with fixing Maxwell. Your OL coach is gone and the Walrus is coaching TEs. Is this how you fix a bad offense?
The blog put up a poll with 3 choices:
1. Adam's - OSU, PSU, MI and MSU in the east, everyone has a locked rival
2. Brian's - OSU, PSU and MI in the east but MSU in the west, only lock MI/MSU (maybe lock OSU/IL and PSU/NE, too)
B10 coaches can reach some cool milestones this season. Thad Matta reached 100 B10 wins by beating PU. Tom Izzo just passed Lou Henson in total wins and is about to reach 200 B10 wins (197 now). Anyone else about to do something cool?
