Look, videos can be difficult to watch because a lot of us read this at work and such, but you should all take time to check this out. It's only 3 minutes long or so, but it's a pretty good look inside the Husker video department. I am pretty impressed with the SBN video quality. If you're not watching these, you really should. They are on par with anything out there, including the WWL.
Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, passed away earlier today. He was a son of Ohio, a graduate of Purdue, and a hero to millions. He was also a veteran of Korea, a test pilot, and one of the most humble men ever. I wonder how many other guys like me were inspired to become a pilot because of Neil Armstrong and guys like him. This is one giant loss for mankind. Godspeed, Mr. Armstrong. The B1G has lost arguably their most famous alum.
WhatIfSports.com simulated the 2012 Big Ten football season.
For those of you who play fantasy football, I've created a fantasy football league on ESPN. To join, do the following: 1. Click the link above 2. Sign in to ESPN or if you don't have an account, register 3. Enter the password. The password is: bigten 4. Click Join League The draft is autopick and will go down on Sunday, August 26th. The remaining rules are standard ESPN rules. I have only one rule: actually play. Don't register and then forget your team. No one likes that guy.
Fairly predictable results minus the fact that Michigan got 1 first place vote... Wait, think about that for a moment. Michigan had someone actually vote them as the best team in America. I mean, good for them and all, but is Hoke's mom voting? Michigan ends up 8th even with the vote of confidence. The B1G has the usual results after that. Wisconsin and Michigan State are 12 and 13 respectively and Nebraska and Ohio State are 17 and 18 respectively. Football is almost here!!! Discuss amongst yourselves.

Per twitter, Bielema says Montee has been released from the hospital. Hopefully he's fine physically and mentally. Class act guy. Perhaps wrong place and wrong time? What's with the world nowadays...
WR Kyle Prater, who transferred from USC to a B1G school--Northwestern, is eligible to play in 2012, the NCAA has determined. And by 'determine', I mean roll some chicken bones, then some dice, then spin a wheel, then flip a coin, then play Rock, Paper, Scissors. Because seriously, I have no idea why some guys get waivers granted and other guys have to sit out a year. Either way, this is a big deal for the Wildcats, and Prater should be a primary target for Kain Colter.
Not to raise any alarms, but Tim Beckman has already agreed to camp out on the lawn of our 7500th follower.
