Somewhat lost in the rubble of expansion the last few days is the fact that it's Beat Michigan Week. They conveniently have a petition on the White House website requesting permission to secede from the USA. You don't need to be a Buckeye to understand the importance of this.
Fuck Michigan. Help them secede!
Look, videos can be difficult to watch because a lot of us read this at work and such, but you should all take time to check this out. It's only 3 minutes long or so, but it's a pretty good look inside the Husker video department. I am pretty impressed with the SBN video quality. If you're not watching these, you really should. They are on par with anything out there, including the WWL.
Week 1 of the Obligatory Predictions Competition is in the books, and it was an unremarkable one for yours truly.
The good: Picking Alabama to throttle Michigan for 7 confidence points.
The bad: Picking Colorado over Colorado State with a confidence value of 9. What the hell was I thinking, seriously?

As a reminder, make sure to log on and make your Week 2 picks. Otherwise, MSULaxer27 actually might redeem himself for picking Purdue to go 1-11 last year.
Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, passed away earlier today. He was a son of Ohio, a graduate of Purdue, and a hero to millions. He was also a veteran of Korea, a test pilot, and one of the most humble men ever. I wonder how many other guys like me were inspired to become a pilot because of Neil Armstrong and guys like him. This is one giant loss for mankind. Godspeed, Mr. Armstrong.
The B1G has lost arguably their most famous alum.
