It's been a busy day in the SEC, as the eight non-BCS teams have been jockeying for bowl assignments. The biggest Big Ten related news is that it is being reported by multiple sources that Auburn will become the first team from the SEC West to be selected by the Outback Bowl. The same reports have indicated that they'll be matched against Wisconsin. As of this moment, it appears that the only SEC question is whether Georgia or Kentucky will go to the Music City Bowl (with the other headed to the Independence Bowl). I expect the Music City to choose Georgia over a third trip from Kentucky in four years. There are also rumbles that the Gator is trying to get Florida State to match with West Virginia as a last send off to Bobby Bowden. They need to get all of the ACC teams with winning records to sign off on that. I don't know that it will happen.
