But based on the letter ProFootballTalk.com acquired, it is Florio's opinion that, "it's obvious that the violation of NCAA regulations could affect future NFL players, especially as it relates to a player's ability to enter the NFL" Pryor originally intended to serve the suspension without complaint, but it appears the NFLPA has convinced him to fight the suspension.

The only player selected in the Supplemental Draft, Pryor went to Oakland with the 18th pick in the 3rd round. The Raiders forfeited their 3rd round pick next season for Pryor. Reportedly, a Raiders team source informed John Clayton that the team drafted Pryor more as a wide receiver than a quarterback. I cannot think of a worse situation to end up in than Oakland, whether Pryor wants to remain a quarterback or not. The instability the organization offers is not what any player, let alone one like Pryor, needs.

The Oakland Raiders selected former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor in the 3rd round of the NFL's Supplemental Draft. Pryor had an impressive Pro Day on Saturday, running a sub-4.4 40 yard dash, and at 6'6" and 230+ pounds, could offer interesting possibilities for the Raiders future.
