Crystal Ball Call: TCU by 3 (Cubs2k8isnxtyearPicks).  Although this one really belongs to the six competitors who held out for the upset.  After 29 minutes replete with mistakes the Horned Frogs refused to quit, incubating an option offense and driving a Boise stake into the heart of the Broncos.  The moral of the story: defense > offense.  TCU 17, BSU 16.

Hindsight is 20-20: Boise State by 21 (Lakeeriemonster).  Here's a generally fail safe way to take a dive in the standings: count on the untested.

TCM: Turner Classic Moves

Esquire Play of the Day: Joseph Turner's 17-yard run midway through the fourth quarter gave No. 11 TCU its first lead of the night, a boone it preserved for a 17-16 victory over No. 9 and previously undefeated Boise State in the Poinsettia Bowl.
