If last week was, for the most part, 'Statement Week' for the Big Ten, this week is...for the most part, 'Throttle Back Week'. There are a few games of interest, but most Big Ten teams have scheduled some semblance of a Directional State School Vo-Tech Community College as their last two opponents before conference play begins.
The notable exceptions are Minnesota, who hosts USC. I expect a better performance against USC than that pitiful effort against South Dakota. Michigan State hosts an improved Notre Dame team that nearly beat the Flying Denards last week, Wisconsin hosts Arizona State from the Pac-Almost Had 30 Teams, and Iowa heads to the Arizona desert.
All 11 teams are in action this week, and there will be Big Ten football beginning at 11:00 AM CST and not ending until after midnight. If you don't see at least some Big Ten action today, you're obviously living in a foreign country with inadequate infrastructure. I suggest you move. Game grid after the jump, and enjoy your Big Ten Saturday!
