Across the Empire: Saturday Bowlapalooza Open Thread

USA TODAY Sports

The B1G started bowl season last night, and soon to be member Rutgers went all B1G on us by losing to Va Tech in overtime, 13-10. Yes, they'll fit in quite nicely, I think.

And thanks, Minnesota. In case you missed it, the Gophers played one of their best games of the season for 58 minutes last night, then they went all Duke in the Belk Bowl on us, and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the Meineke Car Care of Texas Bowl.

Ugh.

Today, Bowl season really kicks in high gear with five games, to include Michigan State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl at 9:15 tonight. The other games kickoff in about 45 minutes, and they can all be seen on ESPN or ESPN2. Or ESPN News, in case one game spills over into the start time of the next.

Standard open thread rules apply: No porn, illegal Internet streams, and don't be a toolbox.

Enjoy the games, everyone!
