David Jones of pennlive.com talked to O'Brien, who had this to say:
I'm not a one-and-done guy. I made a commitment to these players at Penn State and that's what I am going to do.
The reported $1.3 million annual raise he is getting makes it a lot easier to be loyal to the players at Penn State. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it, but it's not like he is staying just out of loyalty and wanting to finish what he started.
Either way, Nittany Lion fans can breathe a sigh of relief and sleep easy tonight. Bill O'Brien is staying for at least another season.
