Morning all. I, uh, got a bit behind this morning so I am a bit late on this one from the norm. I'm a little frustrated I have to work and miss the Maryland/Iowa game, so let's get right to it:
Iowa at Maryland (-4) || 12:00pm EDT || ESPN2
Iowa travels to Maryland for the first time to take on the Terps for their homecoming game. This is a bit of matchup of strength vs strength in the Maryland offense vs the Iowa defense. This game is pivotal for both teams as Iowa attempts to continue their win streak and the game could be a launching point for Maryland as they enter the meat of their schedule.
Purdue at Minnesota (-13) || 12:00pm EDT || BTN
Purdue travels to Minnesota to continue their somewhat confusing season. One week they struggle against a MAC team, and the next they are giving Notre Dame all they have or MSU a run in the 4th. Which team shows up against the run heavy Gophers?
Michigan State at Indiana (+16) || 3:30pm EDT || ESPN
The spittoon game. MSU travels to Indiana to indoctrinate their new starting QB. How does he fair against the stout MSU defense?
Rutgers at Ohio State (-21.5) || 3:30pm EDT || ABC/ESPN2
Apparently ESPN still doesn't know where to put this game, so I suspect it'll be changed region by region. Rutgers gets their first true B1G test in OSU, and we see whether they can fair better than their fellow newbies, Maryland, who let OSU drop 52 on them.
Nebraska at Northwestern (+6.5) || 7:30pm EDT || BTN
Nebraska travels to Northwestern for their homecoming game, and hope to trigger more silent counts in Evanston from the home team. Does Northwestern show up, or do they return to Week 1/2 form?
There you go. Five games again during the 4 byes. Normal rules apply: no illegal game stream links, keep it civil, no porn, etc. Enjoy the day! I'll be feverishly checking my phone from work until the reception starts.
