Welcome to Week 9 y'all, where we've inexplicably come to a week on the schedule where we have unanimously picked every game with the same winner. That just shouldn't happen. Today the new guys travel out west while we get a B1G rivalry game, a pre-season great game, and what looks to be the blowout of the week in Illinois. Here is the schedule:
Maryland at Wisconsin (-10.5) || 12:00pm EDT || BTN
Maryland makes its first trip to Camp Randall to take on the Badgers fresh off the bye. Can Maryland find a way to limit Melvin Gordon, or will he run wild all over the questionable Terps run defense?
Minnesota at Illinois (+5.5) || 12:00pm EDT || ESPNU
Minnesota looks to continue its hot streak as they travel to Illinois. Illinois is hurting all over for some production, and this one could get out of hand early.
Rutgers at Nebraska (-20.5!) || 12:00pm EDT || ESPN2
Rutgers makes its way out to Nebraska to take on the Cornhuskers in what Vegas thinks will be a blowout affair. Personally I think this is more appropriate for the above Minnesota game, but we will see.
Michigan at Michigan State (-17) || 3:30pm EDT || ABC
Our game of the week pits in state rivals against each other in what is usually a very competitive game. This year....Michigan has been #Hoked so I'm not sure how close this will be.
Ohio State at Penn State (+13.5) || 7:00pm EDT || ABC
The B1G is taking over the prime time slot today, so I wonder what the big four letter network says about that. Does OSU keep up its 50+ point performances? We see tonight.
That's all the games this week. Normal rules apply: no illegal game streams, keep it somewhat civil, no porn, etc. See you in the comments!
