We have a ton of games going on today, so rather than doing a preview this week I'm just throwing up an open thread for anyone that wants to discuss. BTN is jam packed all day starting at 11 through 9 tonight (eastern time, duh) with games, and we also have a prime time game with Michigan taking on #3 Arizona. That looked good about 10 days ago, and then last week happened...
Anyways, here is today's lineup:
USC Upstate at #19 Maryland (-14.5) || 11:00am EST || BTN
USC Upstate is deceptively a decent team, so this one should be close in the first half before Maryland pulls away in the second. Or Maryland could go on another 21-2 run in the first half like their last game, I'd be ok with that too.
Morehead State at #14 Ohio State (-19) || 1:00pm EST || BTN
This should be pretty easy, as Morehead State is 4-7 on the year and not looking so hot.
Nicholls State at #3 Wisconsin (-36.5) || 3:00pm EST || BTN
Yikes, what a line.
Grand Canyon at Indiana (-18) || 5:00pm EST || BTN
Grand Canyon...is not good. Indiana should continue to figure out it's rotation and tune up their shooting here. This could be closer if Crean decides to try to fine tune the inside game against an opponent they should dominate.
Michigan at #3 Arizona (-12) || 5:15pm EST || ESPN
This game was much more enticing 10 days ago after Michigan had taken down Syracuse in the B1G/ACC challenge and looked to be a contender in the B1G. NJIT and EMU later.... they are looking for answers and taking on the #3 team in the country is most likely not the way they'd like to find them.
Oregon at Illinois (-6.5) || 7:00pm EST || BTN
Illinois looks to get back on track against Oregon, who is a decent Pac 12 team that will challenge them. After their hot start, they've come back down to reality and Illinois is looking to get their scoring back.
Cincinnati at Nebraska (-4.5) || 9:00pm EST || BTN
Nebraska takes on a tough Cincinatti team as they try to get back on track after losses to Creighton and Incarnate Word.
Purdue at Vanderbilt (-2.5) || 9:00pm EST || SEC Network
The ESSSEEEEESEEE Network has graciously allowed a B1G team to be shown on it against one of their lower tier teams. This line seems low against a team that couldn't beat Rutgers, but we'll see how it goes.
