In last week's installment, I suggested someone (Wisconsin or Michigan) might have a chance at catching Minnesota for the lead in the standings. Minnesota was coming off a sweep at the hands of the Badgers, and Michigan was heading into Gopher land playing some good hockey (less one game at PSU). Minnesota took care of business and now someone catching them looks far less likely.
With hockey going on all over the place, I will delve into more team and home stretch specifics in next week's offering,
Today (Friday) is a huge hockey day, The Olympic semi-final between USA and Canada kicks off an hour after this gets posted, and as always join us here for some fantastic B1G hockey action.
[ed note: I'm moving this drop time up to sync with the USA-Canada semi-final because I can. LET'S TALK HOCKEY PEOPLE! Oh, and uh, sorry about the spoilers and such... -JC]
