A rant of the idea of players union.

So, because I'm an idiot, I been following several Huskers on Tweeter. And, I have come to a conclusion, I shouldn't do that. A) their feeds are as interesting to me, as learning the mating habits of banana slug. B) More often than not, you will read a tweet they send out that will make you cringe. Which is what I found myself doing after reading a couple of tweets from some Huskers about the injustice that has fallen on them. Oh, how poor and sad are the players, the universities are taking them for a ride! You see, the colleges are making, millions and millions of dollars off them! And the poor players get so little in return!

At that point I had to stop, and ask myself, "what the fuck is he going on about?!" Think about it, the greater majority of schools don't make a profit from sports. Yeah, they actually lose money. Now, you look at a school like Nebraska, and we love our football team, o yes we do. If tomorrow they shut down the team, you know what would happen to the school? Nothing, cause the school would still go on. These are academic institutions and believe it or not, that's their real bread and butter. Look at all the Ivy schools, they don't make a penny from sports, and they have the biggest profits from any school. So fuck the players if they want to go on a stupid union because they feel they are being used. Fuck them, cause last I checked no one is putting a gun to their heads and forcing them to play. They can refuse, go to some school and end up with students loans. Like that guy, Beethoven once said, "the problem with youth is that is wasted on the young." This our problem, letting 22 years old think they know something.
