WISCONSIN IN THE FINAL FOUR

The Badgers are on an unbelievable hot streak. And I think I know what happened -

Early in the season, this Wisconsin team was flexing its offensive muscles, pushing the ball on transition (transition for a Bo Ryan team, huh) and playing less slow-down, boringball than usual. Oh goodness, we said, a Wisconsin team that can run&gun but has a traditional Wisconsin-boringball philosophy? DANGEROUS. But you can't serve two masters.

Mid-season, that lack of adherence to usual Wisconsin basketball principles caught up to them. This manifested itself in really bad defensive play and a slide (5 losses in 6 games)...ending with Wisconsin unranked in mid-February.

FRANK KAMINSKY IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE FINAL FOUR!?

The Wisconsin you've seen in the NCAA Tourney is the Wisconsin you've known and hated. And of course Frank Kaminsky has somehow turned into an NBA level player. Because we all predicted that happening.
