B1G 2014 - Football Previews and Cultural Discussions

B1G 2014. Upon us at last.

Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports

On April 5, 2014, the Wisconsin Badgers fell to the UK Wildcats in the NCAA Tourney. At that point, competition ceased in the two major sports covered on OTE. We entered something referred to as the offseason, or "the wilderness", or "limbo".

Never fear.

OTE won't let your B1G fandom rest. No way. We start B1G 2014 on Monday, which if you're new to the site, is a 14-16 week extravaganza of football previews, coaching staff breakdowns, rivalry pieces...and wild-card articles. Each B1G school, which now includes Rutgers and Maryland, will get their week to shine. We go from "worst to first", so naturally Purdue starts us off next week.

The schedule follows a similar weekly pattern:

Monday, Football Team Preview

Tuesday, Coaching Staff

Wednesday, Potluck of questions about your team, answered by OTE writers

Thursday, Basketball Preview / Cultural Discussion

Friday, Rivalry Article

We have a deep stable of really good writers here at OTE. But if you have a relevant FanPost or article idea, shoot me an email and we'll get you frontpaged as part of B1G 2014's offerings.

Thanks for reading OTE! B1G! B1G!
