It's week 2 everyone! We have a stacked slate full of cupcakes during the day today with the conferences three marquee OOC games set for kickoff tonight. By the look of things, the closest games that the staff has predicted are going to be Illinois, Purdue and Northwestern. Step it up you three, let's see if we we can get through the relatively easy games unscathed this week.

Illinois, you have the talent to win this. Be 4th quarter Illinois from last week, not 1st to 3rd quarter Illinois.

The question is when does Nebraska let off the gas in this one.
Akron at Penn State || 12:00pm EDT || ABC/ESPN2
This could be a sneakily close game if the same Akron team from last year shows up. My guess is Hackensburg takes over in the end for the PSU victory.
Central Michigan at Purdue || 12:00pm EDT || ESPNNews
Purdue can win this one, but its closer than we think. My prediction is CMU covers the spread but Purdue pulls out the nail biter.
Howard at Rutgers || 12:00pm EDT || BTN
This could be a bigger blowout than the Nebraska game.
Western Illinois at Wisconsin || 12:00pm EDT || BTN
We have our third game competing for blowout of the week. How much does Gordon play before he is pulled?
Middle Tennessee at Minnesota || 3:30pm EDT || BTN
How long does Minnesota take this week before pulling away?

Maryland is being predicted to barely win this by many, but USF just struggled against an FCS team that was 2-10 last season. Give me Maryland going over 40 points today.
