Developing Story: Penn State Sanctions Have Been Lifted

In a reversal, the NCAA has lifted all sanctions on Penn State as a result of the Sandusky Scandal

Matthew O'Haren-USA TODAY Sports

In a reversal of its decision as a result of the Miller Report, the NCAA has lifted Penn State's bowl ban effective immediately and voted to give Penn State full scholarship use beginning in the 2015-2016 season.  It was expected that some sort of positive outcome for Penn State would occur, an outright reversal of all sanctions minus the fine was about the best result possible.  They are immediately eligible for the post season and they can recruit for a full roster next year.

We expect to have more on this later tonight as more details are released.
