Wisconsin gave Michigan all it could handle last weekend in Ann Arbor while Michigan State got dominated in Happy Valley.  KRACH has Wisconsin and Michigan State rated similarly so a split looks likely.  I was much more impressed with Wisconsin last week and think that they leave Munn Ice Arena with all 6 points, while KRACH projects WI 3.43 - 2.57 MSU.

WI 6 - 0 MSU

Minnesota Golden Gophers @ (9) Michigan Wolverines

Yost Ice Arena, Ann Arbor, MI

Both teams are coming off of big weekends points wise, but neither team looked especially dominant.  Minnesota swept a not very good Buckeye team but was a couple of OT bounces away from being swept themselves.  Michigan let Wisconsin jump out to large leads both nights but found a way to win and tie……….and winning the shootout.  KRACH has Michigan as the favorite (4.34-1.66). The Gophers will need to stay out of the box if they want to leave Michigan with points.  I would feel more confident if these games were in Mariucci so I'll say Michigan wins and ties while the Gophers get their first ever shootout win in B1G play.

MN 2 - 4 MI

Princeton Tigers @ (16) Penn State Nittany Lions

Pegula Ice Arena, University Park, PA

KRACH gives Penn State an 80% chance of winning this game.  Princeton is rated one place above MSU, the team that came into Happy Valley last weekend.  Princeton has a much stronger defense than MSU but lacks on the offensive side.  The only way I see Princeton winning is if Colton Phinney steals this game.  He has a .940 save% on the year so it is possible, but I think Penn State wins this game.

Ohio State Buckeyes & (5) UNO Maverics

The Buckeyes and the Mavericks are both off this week.
