Mackenzie MacEachern took the 1st star with his 4 goal, 1 assist weekend. Mackenzie notched 2 game winning goals and recorded a hat trick on Saturday.
Kyle Rau was the second star with a 4 goal effort. Rau recorded his second career hat trick on Friday.
Adam Wilcox earned the third star in by helping the Gophers sweep Michigan including a Saturday Shutout of the NCAAs top offense. Wilcox stopped 47 of 49 shots on the weekend, good for a save percentage of .959.
You could make a case for Jake Hildebrand who put up better number numbers than Wilcox (2-0-0, 1 SO, .971 Sv%) even if Penn State's offense wasn't as potent as Michigan's. Mike Reilly's goal and 3 assists weren't enough to this week.
