Off Skillet Empire: Pork Chop Sandwiches!

And yet, 10 years later, this is still all I can think of when typing or saying that phrase. Look up "GI Joe Porkchop Sandwiches" if unfamiliar with the PSA (warning: nsfw language)

Okay, so remember that sauce you had left over from the crock pot ribs? If not, the recipe is here: http://www.offtackleempire.com/2015/2/20/8077249/off-skillet-empire-crock-pot-ribs (I'd simmer it down in a pan if starting from scratch.)

Since it's Thursday and I usually do these on Friday, you can let those porkchops marinate overnight in the sauce.

Ingredients:

-Sauce (from previous recipe)
-8 boneless porkchops
-8 croissants
-Swiss cheese
-Lettuce
-Tomato
-Sweet potatoes with butter and brown sugar
-Whichever vegetable you'd like

Hopefully those porkchops should be done marinating, and if not, vacuum seal/marinate them. If you're not familiar with it, you can add some corn starch to a sauce to thicken it, put the porkchops in a vacuum sealable bag, pour in the sauce, vacuum seal it, and shorten the marinating time substantially (a great investment). If you got the sweet potatoes, start those in the oven.

Throw the porkchops on the grill and cook on low to medium, and pour sauce gradually over both sides. Save a little for the sandwiches if you'd like.

Once they're cooked through, take them off the grill. Toast the croissants, throw some lettuce and tomato on there with the porkchop and some sauce, and serve with your sides.
