Week 7: Big Ten Takes Four Spots in Top 25 AP Poll

Going into OT with the Ohio State Buckeyes really helped Wisconsin as they retained that last spot in the Top 10.

Following a Saturday that saw the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes taken to OT as well as #3 Clemson and the fall of Miami, the new AP and Coaches Polls are out! The Big Ten is dominating the Top 10 with four top 10 teams but there is nothing after that. Here is what the Big Ten looks like:

2. Ohio State Buckeyes

3. Michigan Wolverines

8. Nebraska Cornhuskers

10. Wisconsin Badgers

The SEC still leads the way with seven ranked teams but, outside of Alabama and Texas A&M in the Top 10 (#1 and #6), there is nothing until #17 as four two loss SEC teams make it and, shockingly enough, THREE loss Ole Miss is still ranked. The coaches poll looks similar with four ranked Big Ten teams but the final destination is a bit different:

2. Ohio State Buckeyes

4. Michigan Wolverines

9. Nebraska Cornhuskers

10. Wisconsin Badgers

The SEC will complain that two loss Wisconsin is in the Top 10 but there only losses are a 14-7 loss at the #4 Michigan Wolverines and a 30-23 OT loss to the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes while they’ve beaten then top 10 LSU and #8 Michigan State.
