Hopefully these games are better than the Second Shift

Hopefully you didn’t waste your time watching either of the Big Ten afternoon games, as some good ones happened outside the empire.

Tonight’s feature matchups include Michigan at Iowa at 8:00 ET on ABC, but in all likelihood the game to watch is Minnesota at Nebraska at 7:30 ET, when the $5/Bits Of Broken Chair Trophy will be laid on the line on BTN.

If these get ugly, you owe it to yourself to check out ESPN2 for one Louisville drive against Wake Forest just to see Lamar Jackson do something crazy. Also kicking off at 7:30ET is USC at Washington, while LSU and Arkansas, two three-loss SEC teams, will inexplicably be on ESPN. Nobody will be able to watch Ole Miss at Texas A&M on SEC Network.

Try to find some time to flip to these during the commercial breaks in the NASCAR Xfinity Series action.

The late late show is Cal at Washington State at 10:30 ET.

UPDATE: DOWN GOES CLEMSON

Pittsburgh hit a 47 yard field goal to take down Clemson 43-42. After he kicked a 53-yard attempt at the end of the first half into the back of a lineman, Pitt kicker Chris Blewitt was consoled on the sideline by a kiss on the cheek from Pat Narduzzi, who apparently has lips of magic.

UPDATE:

Wow, you really think they’ll be THAT devastated?
