Let's discuss the two Final Four games. Three of the four programs left have won national championships in their history, with Oklahoma the only exception. Buddy Hield is apparently not the AP Player of the Year, nor is Lon Kruger the Coach of the Year, but here they are trying to join The Club. Villanova seeks their second title and their first since 1985. Syracuse and North Carolina, of course, have won national championships under their current coaches. Said coaches have also gotten the schools in plenty of NCAA trouble, although UNC has yet to be punished for it.
Oklahoma vs Villanova || 6:09 ET Tip || TBS
A couple of 2 seeds match up in the early game. Villanova's Jalen Brunson must really be regretting his decision not to go to Illinois right now, huh? Nova did Oklahoma a favor by knocking out their nemesis Kansas in the Elite Eight, but their press is going to cause the Sooners issues.
Syracuse vs North Carolina || 8:49 ET Tip || TBS
The surest loser in this game is NCAA chairman Mark Emmert. Syracuse will try to slow down the Tar Heels with a 2-3 zone, but the hot shooting of Marcus Paige and the rebounding ability of Brice Johnson will provide a balanced threat.
