Well, the day of reckoning is nearly upon us. After a blowout loss that I’m embarrassed to feel somewhat positive about, Lovie Smith and the Illinois Fighting Illini have a chance to prove they’re above rock bottom against the Big Ten program that is the absolute embodiment of that expression at the moment. Not much more I can say. I don’t want to think about this game. I’ll be there.
