That was awful. Just atrocious. And to make things worse, I spent yesterday, with the aid of a Toro blower vac, trying to see if I could fill 25 giant bags with shredded leaves (I COULD!). I have a deep, sneaking suspicion that this upcoming weekend won’t be any better. But at least Thanksgiving is Thursday and I get to take out some frustration on my cousins in the world’s fiercest game of 2-hand touch football (no broken bones since 2014!) and gorge myself with food to take away the pain.
So what would you like to know this week from the “writers”? Who’s the 2nd-best team in the East? Is the gas powered Toro leaf blower/vac amazing? What’s the best way to make garlic mashed potatoes? Is this finally the year that my aunt makes the chili lime corn? Which Gopher WR gets hurt next? Is there a more unstoppable route in backyard football than 4 Verts with a 6’6” slot receiver? Should I take the last piece of that pecan pie? Ask away, and we’ll share our thoughts just in time for my post to get buried by a Nebraska “writer” discussing Mike Riley being fired Friday afternoon!
