Four Big Ten teams in Top 10 of the Coaches Poll

No other Big Ten team is ranked in the preseason poll’s Top 25 college football teams.

This morning USA Today released the first Amway Coaches’ Poll, and four Big Ten teams cracked the Top 25... Top 15... Top 10!

Unfortunately, no other Big Ten teams cracked the rankings.

  1. Alabama Crimson Tide (1603 points, 49 FPV)
  2. Ohio State Buckeyes (1512 points, 5 FPV)
  3. Florida State Seminoles (1434, 4 FPV)
  4. USC Trojans (1415)
  5. Clemson Tigers (1367, 7 FPV)
  6. Penn State Nittany Lions (1257)
  7. Washington Huskies (1245)
  8. Oklahoma Sooners (1237)
  9. Michigan Wolverines (959)
  10. wisconsin badgers (936)

35. Northwestern Wildcats (25 points)
36. Nebraska Cornhuskers (23 points)

Minnesota, Iowa, and Michigan State also came in at 51st, 52nd, and 58th.
