Week 3 Big Ten Stock Report

Stock Up

Wisconsin Badgers - I’m really confused because a quarterback that plays for Wisconsin threw the ball 18/19 for 4 TDs. I’ll assume it is because BYU isn’t as good as expected. Next up: bye.

rutger Scarlet Knights - Congratulations on your only win of the year. Granted, it’s Morgan State, but you had no where to go but up. Next up: Nebraska.

Minnesota Golden Gophers - 47 rushes, 18 throws. Perhaps PJ Fleck realized what Minnesota was built for before he got there. It worked, winning handily 34-3 over Middle Tennessee State. Next up: bye.

Purdue Boilermakers - When was the last time Purdue was 2-1 and the one loss was one where it had just slipped away? Good things are happening at Purdue and we’re all left wondering what sacrifice was made to the ACL gods. Next up: Michigan.

Northwestern Wildcats - Well, that was a sorely needed tune up game. Bowling Green is terrible but those are the teams Northwestern struggles against in the non-con. Given what happened last season...Northwestern will probably be ok. Next up: bye.

Stock Holding

Penn State Nittany Lions - It was Georgia State. Penn State is a top 5 team. Stock holding, anticipated blowout occurred. Next up: Iowa.

Ohio State Buckeyes - I haven’t looked but the spread may have been higher than 31. I’m sure 38-7 was a confidence boost after last week but this was an expected win. Next up: UNLV. Reminder: UNLV lost to Howard. This should be a Michigan over rutger beatdown.

Michigan Wolverines - This might be the third week in a row I’ve wanted to put Michigan in stock down mode. The offense was hot garbage once again and I’m fairly sure you may lead the game off next week with a HB Dive up the middle for a one yard gain. Next up: Purdue.

Iowa Hawkeyes - Akrum Wadley was screwed out of that TD and the NCAA hates fun. You still only beat North Texas by less than 50 so stock holding. Next up: Penn State.

Maryland Terrapins - bye week, stock holding. Next up: UCF

Michigan State - bye week, stock holding. Next up: Notre Dame

Indiana Hoosiers - Game cancelled, stock holding. Next up: Georgia Southern.

Stock Down

Illinois Fighting Illini - You had some believing you could do it and then you went out and reminded us why you definitely couldn’t do it. 8 freshmen in the starting lineup so the future could be better for Illinois. Next up: bye.

Nebraska Cornhuskers - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. *Deep breath. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. You guys really lost when the defense showed their best performance and only gave up 7 points, albeit against Northern Illinois, didn’t you? Next up: rutger.
