Big Ten Football 2017: Week 4 Preview in MS Paint Infographics

Previewing Week 4 for those of you with no attention span

Well, we’re down to the last week that includes non-conference play. Fighting Illini came out 2-1, which was better than I expected. I don’t know how I managed to get my expectations up when they didn’t look particularly good in either win. Really, if I look at my own ramblings from the last couple years, I’ve known a massive problem was coming this year. I talked about how the 2016 team had an enormous senior class, which was why I was so adamant that we make a great coaching hire at the end of the 2015 season to take advantage of the experience on the ‘16 roster before the inevitable roster crater of 2017. Nevertheless, it’s still infuriating to watch. Mainly because we now have a very uninspiring quarterback battle and an offense that’s greatly hampered by that and the underclassmen on the line.

I bring this up because if Nebraska’s offense is really as inept as it showed itself to be last week, we could see them play in two of the worst games in recent memory...within six days. They host Rutgers on Saturday and then travel to Champaign on Friday. If Nebraska does the unthinkable in two days, I’m tempted to take off work to go see some Friday Night Dumpster Fire. Anyway, on to using a silly medium to tell jokes that otherwise wouldn’t be all that funny.
