I always knew something was wrong with Jim Harbaugh. After taking a psychology class at the local community college, I realized there is a scientific word for the condition. He is bat shit crazy. His rant against the locker room at Purdue, which was described as “even mannered” in this article, was a moment of sanity. Upset after a win, he was not pleased with the temperature and the medical equipment in the Purdue visitor’s locker room. Any sane person would agree.
I'll begin supporting Harbaugh's rant on Locker room issues at Purdue as soon as he gives Those broadcasting his games a Depth Chart!

Well that’s a rather “hot” take on player safety.
Of course Jim Harbaugh would have a response.
Get a depth chart & you will support player safety. Difficult to understand your pundit rationale, but very revealing! @notthefakeSVP https://t.co/XfjYItPd1H

Scott Van Pelt was included in the response because he apparently also equated player safety to depth charts.
As I said last night, everything you said was reasonable. I was not the equating the two as the same thing. Only as being reasonable.

Scott Van Pelt responded in a reasonable way and defended himself and his position well.
Tim Brando engaged with the trolls. Never a good idea.
.I agree with that too. Never said I didn't. His full on RANT? No, I blocked that that lied about what MY tweet was about.Twist it? Blocked!

Now that the fun part of grown men engaging in twitter fights is over, let’s talk about the real issues. Why I absolutely hate the media and why Jim Harbaugh, a genius, can’t manage a better than 3rd place finish in the Big Ten.
First, let’s talk about the media complaining about Jim Harbaugh and his lack of respect. He shouldn’t respect us. We are a bunch of fat blobs that would probably fall over if we tried to catch a football he underhand tossed us. Aside from that, we already have it pretty cushy.
Much like politics, college athletics are a sleazy business. Colleges “take care” of the media. Why? So we will write about them and say nice things. We get free tickets that give us all access, free food, and even days that are all about us. The coaches shake hands and remember names. We get brochures with every fact and stat imaginable, just to help us do our job. They even hand feed us stories about players and what swell people they are.
It’s the way it’s been for a long time, and it’s GLORIOUS. Jim is now upsetting that deal. He doesn’t release depth charts. “IF I AM GOING TO COVER A MICHIGAN GAME, GOD FORBID I HAVE TO ACTUALLY WATCH A PREVIOUS MICHIGAN GAME AT THE START, WRITE DOWN THE NUMBERS OF THE PLAYERS ON THE FIELD, CROSS CHECK IT WITH THE ROSTER PROVIDED BY THE SPORTS INFORMATION DEPARTMENT, AND COME UP WITH A DEPTH CHART!”, Tim Brando, probably.
As for injuries and lineup changes done throughout the week, no team is honest about that.
That multiple members would still be upset by this is a testament of just how spoiled the national media has become and how very little they actually watch the games.
Now on to why Harbaugh hasn’t taken over the B1G. I truly believe he is a football genius and he also engages in total war, which is part of his undoing. This attack on the locker room might have had an element of player safety in it, but it was also about firing his team up next time they take on the Boilermakers. He was unhappy with the effort from the boys in maize and blue and will use this “slight” next time the two teams play.
Much like his arguments with Saban about satellite camps, Harbaugh jumps in with both feet in every aspect of the team. In the modern world, that’s an impossible endeavor. There is just too much going on.
Using Urban Meyer as the example, he spends the vast majority of his time recruiting the best players, and then motivating them once they are in Columbus. Sure, he jumps into other areas but not with the zeal that Harbaugh does. While entertaining, I think the Harbaugh way ultimately hurts the team by his lack of focus on more important things.
TL;DR Haiku
Harbaugh is Crazy
National media sucks
Urban Owns Jimmy
