In an otherwise ugly game that had almost nothing of note occur as the Terps easily defeated Nebraska 60-45, Bruno Fernando set a firestorm across Lincoln in a 2nd half dunk. Tim Miles was irate as he received a technical while the refs were otherwise allowing a play on to occur. Here is the play:
Bruno Fernando being made the villain here, but he’s really a hero for sparing Borchardt’s life. #DontTugOnSupermansCape pic.twitter.com/k6V4QDjgXB

Of note as you watch this again: Watch the Tanner Borchardt leg scissor on Bruno Fernando the entire way up and most of the way down, likely causing Fernando to land directly on him. Tim Miles was T’ed up, refs did not review it, and play went on.
After the game, a [likely drunk] Nebraska fan stormed the court to confront Bruno Fernando and Mark Turgeon over the play. Luckily for fans sake before Fernando could react, multiple security guards were there to escort him away to once again save a Nebraska life from Fernando.
