Big Ten Stock Market Game: Week 1

You've all by now read the Week 1: B1G Stock Report from our "esteemed" "writer", "Dead Read", so I'm guessing you are ready to put your money where his mouth is. Here's your shot: The B1G Stock Market! Buy, Hold, and Sell to make the most Delaney Dollars you can.

Here's how it works:

  1. Start with a $510 investment.
  2. Select team stocks to buy.
  3. After the week's games, sell, hold, and/or buy for the next week.
Team stock value comes from Teamrankings.com. the value of each team is the inverse of their current rating (out of 130 FBS teams), so Clemson costs $129, OSU $125, UTEP $2.

Hard rule is no more than 50 shares for any team. In my test run I could get stupid ROIs from Illinois and rutger, so I have to limit the penny stocks.
