Big Ten Stock Market Game: Week 1

You've all by now read the Week 1: B1G Stock Report from our "esteemed" "writer", "Dead Read", so I'm guessing you are ready to put your money where his mouth is. Here's your shot: The B1G Stock Market! Buy, Hold, and Sell to make the most Delaney Dollars you can.

Here's how it works:

  1. Start with a $510 investment.
  2. Select team stocks to buy.
  3. After the week's games, sell, hold, and/or buy for the next week.
Team stock value comes from the value of each team is the inverse of their current rating (out of 130 FBS teams), so Clemson costs $129, OSU $125, UTEP $2.

Hard rule is no more than 50 shares for any team. In my test run I could get stupid ROIs from Illinois and rutger, so I have to limit the penny stocks.

Here are the starting values: **UPDATED BECAUSE MATH IS HARD**
Illinois 62; Indiana 85; Iowa 109; Maryland 103; Michigan 124; Michigan State 113; Minnesota 73; Nebraska 97; Northwestern 99; Ohio State 125; Penn State 122; Purdue 84; Rutgers 34; Wisconsin 126
